Untitled United States neutrality during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War is especially troublesome to Pakistan. The United States' stance at this time is a contributing factor to Pakistan's closing of United States communications and intelligence facilities near Peshawar. Pakistan does not extend the ten-year agreement signed in 1959.
