Dyrrhachium, East Roman Theme of

The Theme of Dyrrhachium is a Byzantine military-civilian province (theme) located in modern Albania, covering the Adriatic coast of the country.

It is established in the early 9th century and named after its capital, Dyrrhachium (modern Durrës).
