Adam Duncan, 1st Viscount Duncan (July 1, 1731 – August 4, 1804) is a British admiral who defeats the Dutch fleet off Camperdown (north of Haarlem) on  October 11, 1797.

This victory is considered one of the most significant actions in naval history.
