Alexander I of Epirus (370 BCE – 331 BCE), also known as Alexander Molossus, is a king of Epirus (350–331 BC)E of the Aeacid dynasty.
As the son of Neoptolemus I and brother of Olympias, he is an uncle of Alexander the Great.
He comes at an early age to the court of Philip II of Macedon, and after the Grecian fashion becomes the object of his attachment.
Philip in requital makes him king of Epirus, after dethroning his uncle Arymbas.
