Flavius Areobindus Dagalaiphus Areobindus, commonly simply Areobindus or Ariovindus fl.
c. 460–512) is an East Roman (Byzantine) general and politician.
The scion of a distinguished line, he leads troops in the Anastasian War, and serves as consul in 506.
During an urban riot in 512, he is proclaimed emperor by the mob, but he had gone into hiding.
He dies soon after.
