Sassanian general
590 CE to 636 CE
Bahman Jādūya (also Jādōē and Jādhawayh) is a Sassanian general with a reputation for being anti-Arab.
He leads the Sassanians to victory against the Arabs at the Battle of the Bridge.
The Arab forces refer to Bahman as Dhul Hājib, ("owner of bushy eyebrows").
He is often confused with Mardanshah, another Sassanian general.
