Cuffy, also spelled as Kofi or Koffi (died in 1763), is an Akan man who had been captured in his native West Africa and stolen for slavery to work on the plantations of the Dutch colony of Berbice in present-day Guyana.
He becomes famous because in 1763 he leads a revolt of more than twenty-five hundred slaves against the colonia lregime.
