Sir Henry Hamilton Johnston GCMG KCB (June 12, 1858 – July 31, 1927), frequently known as Harry Johnston, is a British explorer, botanist, artist, colonial administrator and linguist who travels widely in Africa and speaks many African languages.
He publishes forty books on African subjects and is one of the key players in the Scramble for Africa that occurs at the end of the nineteenth century.
