John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute, KG, PC (May 25, 1713 – March 10, 1792) is a Scottish nobleman who serves as Prime Minister of Great Britain (1762–1763) under George III.
He is arguably the last important favorite in British politics.
He is the first Prime Minister from Scotland following the Acts of Union in 1707 and the first Tory to have held the office.
