Maysara (or Maisara or Meicera), oft-surnamed al-Matghari (a Berber tribe) or, in older Arab sources, el-Hakir ('the Ignoble') (?-September/October 740) is a Berber rebel leader and original architect of the Great Berber Revolt that erupts in 739-40, until his deposition and death in the middle of 740.
