William P. Rogers

William Pierce Rogers (June 23, 1913 – January 2, 2001) is an American politician, diplomat, and lawyer.

He serves as United States Attorney General under President Dwight D. Eisenhower and United States Secretary of State under President Richard Nixon.

Despite Rogers being a close confidant of Nixon, National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger overshadows Rogers and eventually succeeds him as Secretary of State.
