Yusuf ibn Ahmad al-Mu'taman ibn Hud is an Arab mathematician and a member of the Banu Hud family.
Al-Mu'taman rules Zaragoza from 1082 to 1085.
He is the son of the previous ruler, Ahmad ibn Sulayman al-Muqtadir.
He also writes Kitab al-Istikmal (Arabic: Book of Perfection) in mathematics.
Ceva's theorem, which is often attributed to the Italian mathematician Giovanni Ceva (d. 1734), is proved much earlier by Al-Mu'taman ibn Hud.
