The Battle of Kolín on June 18, 1757 sees forty-four thousand Austrians under Count von Daun defeat thirty-two thousand Prussians under Frederick the Great during the Seven Years' War.
The Prussians lose the battle and nearly fourteen thousand men; the Austrians lost eight thousand men.
