King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) stays on the throne, but will abdicate three years later.
The people behind the coup call themselves Khana Ratsadon (the People's Party).
Among the conspirators are Field Marshal Phibunsongkhram, Dr. Pridi Phanomyong, Khuang Abhaiwongse, and Prayoon Phamornmontri.
