The War of the two brothers, Inca Civil War or Inca war of succession, breaks out in 1527 (fighting starts in 1531) as a disagreement between the two brothers Huáscar and Atahualpa and is - in a way - a war of succession of the Inca throne.
However, it is Huáscar who starts the war since he sees himself as the rightful heir of all Incas, while Atahualpa is revealed to be tactically superior to the mighty armies of Cusco.
