War continues until January of 1731, when the French capture a Natchez fort on the west side of the Mississippi.
Between seventy-five and two hundred and fifty Natchez warriors escape and find refuge among the Chickasaw.
The young Great Sun and about one hundred of his followers are captured, subsequently enslaved, and shipped to work French plantations in the Caribbean.
The Yazoo and Koroa, having allied with the Natchez, suffer the same fate in defeat.
