Huang Chao Rebellion

Huang Chao (died 884) is the leader of the Huang Chao Rebellion (874-884), known in mainland China as the Huang Chao Revolution in China, which seriously weakens the Tang Dynasty of China.

The dynasty, which is one of the strongest empires in the world at this time, will dissolve within a few decades after the rebellion, and the empire will brea up into the competing states of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period.
