The Siege of Kuriyagawa is a certain battle during the Heian period (12th century) of Japan.This rather minor siege, which is a part of the Zenkunen War, ends with the victory of the Minamoto when Abe commander Abe no Sadato ends up being defeated in his stockade fortress of Kuriyagawa.

Minamoto no Yoshiie establishes Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gū within Kamakura to give thanks to his victorious Minamoto allies.
