Bartolommeo Ammanati has executed the Del Monte family tombs in the church of San Pietro in Montorio from 1550 to 1553.
A leading sculptor and architect, he has also collaborated with Giacomo Barozzi da Vignola and Giorgio Vasari on the Villa Giulia, constructed between 1552-55.
Late in 1555, he moves to Florence, where he will work for Cosimo I de' Medici.
