Jackson forces the Creeks to sign the…
August 1814 CE
The Creek Nation is forced to cede twenty-three million acres (ninety-three thousand square kiometers)—half of central Alabama and part of southern Georgia—to the United States government; this includes territory of the Lower Creek, who had been allies of the United States.
Jackson has determined the areas from his sense of security needs.
Of the twenty-three million acres, Jackson forces the Creek to cede one point nine million acres (seven thousand seven hundred square kilometers), which is claimed by the Cherokee Nation, which had also allied with the United States.
Jackson is promoted to Major General after getting agreement to the treaty.
