The reforming process has stalled in Austria…
October 1848 CE
The reforming process has stalled in Austria because the government is busy in other Habsburg territories.
A new uprising occurs in Vienna on October 6, 1848, and is put down after three days with great brutality by troops under Windisch-Grätz.
By the end of October, the Habsburg armies have subjugated Vienna itself, the center of the revolutionary movement, and now only Hungary is still in arms against the imperial government.
