Emanuel Schikaneder (September 1, 1751 – September 21, 1812), born Johann Joseph Schickeneder, is a German impresario, dramatist, actor, singer and composer.

He writes the libretto of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera The Magic Flute and is the builder of the Theater an der Wien.
