Francisco de Garay (died 1523) is a Spanish Basque conquistador.

He is a companion to Christopher Columbus on his second voyage to the New World and arrives in Hispaniola in 1493.

Here he attracts attention when he encounters a large gold nugget worth four thousand pesos.
