Yazid ibn Abu Sufyan is one of the companions of Muhammad.

The son of Abu Sufyan ibn Harb and the brother of Muawiya I, he is not to be confused with Yazid ibn Muawiya who was the caliph during the period in which Imam Hussain was martyred.
