Construction begins on the collegiate Church of All Saints at Maidstone, a borough in Kent in southeastern England, situated on the River Medway about thirty miles (forty-eight kilometers) southeast of London.
Built in 1395 next to the Archbishop's Palace, the church is one of the largest and widest parish churches in England.
