July 1814 CE
Davy's party had continued to Rome, and also visited Naples and Mount Vesuvius.
By June 1814, they are in Milan, where they meet Alessandro Volta, then continue north to Geneva.
They will return to Italy via Munich and Innsbruck, and when their plans to travel to Greece and Constantinople (Istanbul) are abandoned after Napoleon's escape from Elba, they will return to England.
