Henry III had had his Catholic uncle…
November 1589 CE
Henry III had had his Catholic uncle Charles imprisoned in the castle of Blois on December 23, 1588, and has since transferred him from one castle to another, presumably to prevent escape.
After he is recognized as Charles X by the parliament of Paris on November 21, 1589, his prison is considered too close to Catholic territory, so he is again transferred, this time to the castle of Fontenay-le-Comte, where he will die the following May.
