December 1798 CE
This revolt quickly had spread, consuming most of West Eifel.
The primary combatants in Luxembourg are the peasantry.
The middle and upper classes are not driven to revolt as the anti-clericalism and the modernization brought by the French Revolution are somewhat beneficial to them.

Ninety-four insurgents are tried and of those, forty-two are executed.
