Owain and his army of four hundred…
1401 CE
Owain and his army of four hundred are camped in June at the bottom of the Hyddgen Valley, at Mynydd Hyddgen on Pumlumon, when fifteen hundred English and Flemish settlers from Pembrokeshire (little England beyond Wales), charge down on them.
Owain rallies his army and fights back, killing two hundred and making prisoners of the rest.
