August 1189 CE
Stefan Nemanja, despite being in his early seventies, follows the Crusaders with his army to the border at the Gate of Trajan, when he moves to new conquests and dispatches envoys to Adrianople to officially cement the Alliance with Emperor Frederick.
While his envoys are negotiating with Berthold Andex, who is negotiating on behalf of the emperor, Nemanja takes Pernik, Zemen, Velbužd, Žitomisk, Stobi, Prizren and the rest of Kosovo and Metohija and even Skopje.
