A group of Maliseet, Passamaquoddy and a single band of Mi'kmaq meet with Cornwallis in the Summer of 1749. They agree with the British to end fighting and renew an earlier treaty drafted in Boston, redrafted as the Treaty of 1749.
However Cornwallis's diplomatic efforts are doomed to failure.
