The victory at Tryvana is very important for Bulgaria.

Up to this moment, the official Emperor has been Peter IV, but, after the major successes of his younger brother, the latter is proclaimed Emperor later this year.

Officially, Peter preserves his title and rules from Preslav, but the state is now governed by Ivan Asen I.

In the next two years, he will liberate many lands to the west and southwest, including Sofia and Niš.

His troops loot Thrace and Constantinople is powerless to resist the Bulgarian attacks.
