Cleopatra Thea ("Cleopatra the Goddess") (ca.
164–121 BCE) surnamed Eueteria (i.e., "Benefactress") is the ruler of the Hellenistic Seleucid Empire.
She rules Syria from 125 BCE after the death of Demetrius II Nicator.
She eventually rules in co-regency with her son Antiochus VIII Grypus, who poisons her in 121 or 120 BCE.
