Lieutenant General Daniel Webb (died November 11, 1773) is a British Army general made famous for his actions during the French and Indian War.
He purchases a commission as ensign on March 20, 1720.
He is promoted to the majory of the Eighth Horse, in 1742, and serves at the Battle of Dettingen in 1743.
In April 1745 he is promoted lieutenant colonel of the regiment, and serves at the Battle of Fontenoy.
He is promoted to colonel of the 48th Regiment of Foot in 1755.
