Erishum I, the king of Assyria between 1906 BCE to 1867 BCE, is the son of the previous Assyrian king, Ilushuma.
He builds a temple for the deity Assur.
The building is subsequently ruined, but is later restored by Shamshi-Adad I.
Erishum I repairs temples to other deities in the capital of Assur, and continues the trade policies of his father.
