Lysimachus (Lysimachos; c. 360 BCE – 281 BCE) is a Macedonian officer and diadochus (i.e.

"successor") of Alexander the Great, who becomes a basileus ("King") in 306 BCE, ruling Thrace, Asia Minor and Macedon.
