Soga no Iruka (died July 10, 645) is a statesman in the Asuka Period of Japan.
He is a son of Soga no Emishi.
He is assassinated by Prince Naka-no-Ōe though he tries to murder Prince Yamashiro, and to rule the emperor family.
Emishi also commitssuicide soon after his son's death, and the main branch of the Soga clan becomes extinct.
