Plan de Montaño
The Plan de Montaño is a pronouncement made by Colonel Manuel Montaño, in December 1827, during the first constitutional presidential period of the United Mexican States, that has as its objective the dissolution of secret societies (specifically Masonic lodges), to renew the presidential cabinet , to expel minister Joel Roberts Poinsett, and to enforce the Constitution of 1824.
