The Uruguayan War (Spanish: Guerra del Uruguay; Portuguese: Guerra do Uruguai), (August 10, 1864 – February 20, 1865) is an undeclared war fought between the Blanco Party, which governs Uruguay, and an alliance consisting of the Empire of Brazil and the Uruguayan Colorado Party, which has the veiled support of Argentina.
