Father Rale and the Wabanaki Confederacy of…
March 1724 CE
Father Rale and the Wabanaki Confederacy of Acadia throughout 1723 had orchestrated a total of fourteen raids on the English settlements along the border of New England, primarily in present-day Maine.
The campaign had started in April and lasted until December.
Through the various raids, thirty people had been killed or taken captive.
The Native campaign is so successful along the Maine frontier that Dummer orders its evacuation to the blockhouses in the spring of 1724.
