The County of Sponheim (German: Grafschaft Sponheim, former spelling: Spanheim, Spanheym) is an independent territory in the Holy Roman Empire that lasts from the eleventh century until the early nineteenth century.

The name comes from the municipality of Sponheim, where the counts have their original residence.
