Benedict XIV is the name used by two closely related minor antipopes of the fifteenth century.

The first, Bernard Garnier becomes antipope in 1424 and dies ca.

1429.

The second, Jean Carrier, becomes antipope ca.

1430 and apparently leavesoffice, whether by death or resignation, by 1437.
