63 BCE or 62 BCE to ca.
51 BCE.
He is the son of King Ariobarzanes I of Cappadocia and his wife Queen Athenais Philostorgos I, while his sister is Isias Philostorgos, who marries King Antiochus I Theos of Commagene.
Ariobarzanes II is half Persian and half Greek.
