Naiman warrior and ruler of the Kara-Khitan Khanate

Kuchlug (also spelled Küchlüg, Küçlüg, Güčülüg) is a member of the Naiman tribe of western Mongolia.
He is defeated by Genghis Khan and flees westward to the Kara-Khitan Khanate, where he becomes an advisor.
In 1210, he takes control of the khanate.
He is killed by the Mongols when they conquer the region in 1218.
