Lucius Julius Caesar (17 BCE - 20 August CE 2), most commonly known as Lucius Caesar, is the second son of Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa and Julia the Elder.
He is born between 14 of June and 15 July 17 BCE with the name Lucius Vipsanius Agrippa, but when he, together with his brother Gaius, is adopted in the year of his birth by his maternal grandfather Roman Emperor Caesar Augustus, his name is changed to Lucius Julius Caesar.
He and his brother are raised and educated by their grandparents.
