Tyrannius Rufinus

Tyrannius Rufinus or Rufinus of Aquileia (Rufinus Aquileiensis; 340/345 – 410) is a monk, historian, and theologian.

He is most known as a translator of Greek patristic material into Latin—especially the work of Origen.
