William Hart

Scottish-born American landscape and cattle painter of the Hudson River School

William Hart (March 31, 1823 – June 17, 1894), was a Scottish-born American landscape and cattle painter, and Hudson River School artist.

His younger brother, James McDougal Hart, is also a Hudson River School artist, and the two paint similar subjects.

He studies under Jules-Joseph Lefebvre.
