Yi Ui-min (died May 7, 1196) is a military general who dominates the Goryeo government prior to the Mongol Invasions.
When his rival, Commander Gyeong Dae-seung, dies, Yi Ui-min rises to power in the supreme military council, Jungbang.
His tyranny comes to and end in 1196 on the 8th day of the 4th lunar month when he is assassinated by General Choe Chung-heon.
