The Battle of Ghazdewan occurs in what is now Uzbekistan in 1512 between Babur's Mughal army and invading Uzbek tribes from Central Asia.
It results in Babur's defeat, after which he resigns hope of recovering his father's empire of Ferghana.
It also helps solidify the alliance between Babur’s nascent Mughal Empire and the Ottoman empire.
