Kalmar Civil War of 1520-33
1520 CE – 1523 CE
Sweden breaks out of the three-nation Kalma Union and reenters it several times, until 1521, when Sweden finally leaves the Union, leaving Denmark–Norway (including overseas possessions in the North Atlantic and the island of Saaremaa in modern Estonia).
